Radio Free Skaro #366 - The Emperor's New Clothes
Radio Free SkaroNeil Gaiman's sophomore effort is one of the most divisive in the history of new Doctor Who, with some fans adoring his take on the Cybermen and others viewing precocious children and speedy metal men with disdain. But what did the Three Who Rule think? What are Chris's views on the Proper Use of the Pimp Hand? Was Steven his usual cheery self, and did Warren find time to admonish his fellow nerds for overexcitement? Mix in stats, leaked Series 7 DVDs, fake Target book covers, and more, and you've got yourself a veritable jambalaya of Doctor Who conversation for slightly less than an hour!

Doctor Who - The Flashing Blade Podcast - 1-154
The Flashing Blade PodcastThe world's worst review show in the world, EVER!
No, seriously, this one is bad. Siobhan, on her own, ill-prepared and tired, babbles incoherently about Hide, some BBC books and a few Audio Go's.....
And in the end, the gir next door lives in a lighthouse..

A show with everything but Yul Brynner
Who's He?The lads get their teeth into Neil Gaimans highly anticipated story, Nightmare In Silver, that promised to make the Cybermen scary again. Well, that is certainly a bold claim and not one that goes unchallenged! Oh no, Phil and Paul have differing views on this weeks episode which leads to Phil having an internal struggle before the leprechaun on his shoulder tells him to burn stuff, while Paul does his best to change Phil's mind only to fail miserably. Phil also takes a moment this week to think of Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine. A very long moment in fact. There is also a lot of talk about fanwank that could lead to blindness and they also briefly talk about She Said, He Said, the epilogue (yes, epilogue!) to The Name of The Doctor.
And in this weeks news, in the absence of any overnight viewing figures for Nightmare In Silver they make some up instead, news on showings for the blu-ray editions of the Peter Cushing Dalek films and in 50th Anniversary news, a photo of Matt Smith that has set tongues wagging and John Hurt lets the cat out of the bag which Phil and Paul talk about. Sort of.

2MTL 307: "Nightmare in Silver" Reviewed
Two-minute Time LordNeil Gaiman's second episode of Doctor Who isn't quite as strong as his first, but it's still darn good. Could it be that this time the writer was working in a traditional Doctor Who playground rather than "The Doctor's Wife"'s bubble universe?
Check out Ryan Britt and Chris Lough's article, "Neil Gaiman Can't Help Creating His Own Universe Inside of Yours," at Tor.com.

TDP 316: Nightmare in Silver - Smith 2013 Ep 7
Tin Dog PodcastDoctor Who Tin Dog Podcast Reviews Nightmare in silver. More to follow "Nightmare in Silver"[2] will be the twelfth and penultimate episode of the seventh seriesof the British science-fiction drama Doctor Who and is scheduled to be broadcast on 11 May 2013. It was written by Neil Gaiman and directed by Stephen Woolfenden. The episode will star Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Jenna-Louise Coleman asClara Oswald. It features the Cybermen, following their last appearance in the sixth seriesepisode "Closing Time". Production [edit] Lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat contacted Neil Gaiman about writing for the series and asked him to make the Cybermen "scary again". Gaiman thought back to classic series serials The Moonbase and The Tomb of the Cybermen (1967) and decided to "take the 1960s Cybermen and [incorporate] everything that's happened since".[3]Warwick Davis stated that it was a "thrill" to be in Doctor Who, especially in an episode with the Cybermen written by Gaiman.[4] Moffat stated that the Cybermen were redesigned because they did so often in the classic series, and yet had been consistent in the new series.[5] However the new series Cybermen are to make an appearance in the episode as shown in the trailer for the episode.[6] Some location filming took place in early November 2012 at Castell Coch.[7] During this time, a copy of the readthrough script was found in a taxi in Cardiff. It was marked as being Eve De Leon Allen's copy and had the working title of "The Last Cyberman", which has since changed. The script was found by Hannah Durham, who posted a picture of the script to Facebook with the caption: "found Dr Who script in the back of a taxi. Cheeky spoilers anyone?" It was then posted to Reddit by Dan Rowling with the caption: "Look what a Facebook friend found in a taxi in Cardiff on Monday".[8] Arrangements were then made by Hannah Durham and Dan Rowling to return the script to the BBC.[9][10] References

Whocast #245 - Blennophobie on a Spaceship
Whocast.de (Deutsche)Ist denn schon wieder Weihnachten? Nein! Also ab ins Forum und abstimmen!

Episode 42: Brave Heart Stephen
A Mad Man with a BoxI know you have all be wondering what we thought of “The Crimson Horror.” Time to find out!
Ewan and were both anticipating this episode and looking forward to the return of Vastra, Jenny and Strax and of course Dame Diana Rigg playing a villain. Did it live up to our expectations? Are we tired yet of Strax and his comedy? Will Stephen get to wear the Doctor’s awesome Victorian threads? The answers to some of these questions can be found in the player below! As well as some “squee” about the 50th Anniversary Special.
Enjoy!

055 - Wasting Away in Sweetville
Arrow of TimeIt may have taken the better part of whatever we’re calling the current chunk of Doctor Who (I suggest “semi-series”), but Mark Gatiss gets it right, serving up a tasty helping of “The Crimson Horror.” While we recommend against eating television shows (leave that to us professionals), we do suggest listening to the latest Arrow of Time as part of a balanced podcast diet. Bon appetit!

It’s a two-hander this week with James McLean providing company for Christian Cawley – and you, dear listener – as we look in-depth at a few important Doctor Who topics.

We also chew over the recent rumours concerning Steven Moffat’s continued presence as Doctor Who Executive Producer as well as spending a few moments on the end of shooting on the 50th anniversary episode.
Perhaps most importantly, we want our listeners to tell us what they know about any cinema screenings of the 50th anniversary 3D episode. Our initial research into which cinemas and chains will be taking part have so far drawn a blank… Get in touch using our news contact page.
