We conclude our two part review with "The Poison Sky".  Since Daisy kept accedentally talking about it last week, this week is a bit of a short episode.  Filled with short potato aliens.  And, as usual, rabbits.

This week was supposed to be Episode 121 and we were going to review Series 3 of Sherlock.  We did record it, however, during editing the computer crashed and most of the audio was lost.  There is not enough left that makes sense.  I guess it's just as well since Daisy was sick and coughed throughout the recording and almost lost her voice by the end. 

Our next episode is our Gallifrey One pre-con show. 

'Space - the final frontier. Final because it wants to kill us.' Trapped on a space station with no oxygen, the Doctor, Bill and Nardole are horrified to discover the automated spacesuits keeping them alive are also trying to kill them!

Seeing that the time had lapsed on those temporary restraining orders, we ventured outside our homes once again and attended another convention, DFW Whofest 4 in Dallas. This episode we talk about some of our experiences with friends as well as guests at the convention, followed by a recording of the "TARDIS Tavern Live" in which we were permitted to spend an hour with Mark Strickson (he's the one who played Turlough during the Fifth Doctor era) under close supervision of hotel security. Listen in as we wax nostalgic about the highs and lows of the weekend!

Podcast, Phil and Paul return once again to the literary world with a review of the Target novelisation of The Image of The Fendahl.  Probably one of the last great gothic horror Doctor Who stories produced in the 1970's, the lads compare the novel to the TV incarnation and discuss the merits of Terrance Dicks expanding of characters and also whether some of the more notorious aspects of this story make to the page.

And in another slow news week, 2 more writers are announced for series 8, Doctor Who picks up 2 BAFTA's in ceremony that is held in a pub (or so Phil and Paul like to think) and in Omega's Tat Corner, 2 items of tat, one of which gets Phil excited.

In the dog days before the wondrous rapture that is the Gallifrey convention in the greater Los Angeles area, the news was sparse and the fans were restless. However, the reveal of Peter Capaldi’s 12th Doctor costume sparked not only excitement and fevered speculation across Who fandom but was also the cause of an ill-advised tangent on cosplay by Warren, Steven, and Chris, who know less than nothing about such matters and have been replaced by trained seals in 6th Doctor costumes. Next week, the semi-demi-official Gallifrey 2014 preview episode! But for now, a commentary by the Three Who Rule for "The Day of the Doctor"!

This week Mark Gatiss returns to the podcast. Sort of. I mean, he’s not a guest or anything, he’s just written another story that we’re reviewing, which mean’s he’s the first writer to cross mediums for us. It’s Phantasmagoria, written by Mark Gatiss and released in October 1999. Phantasmagoria can be purchased for $3 (or your local equivalent) on Big Finish's website.

Well maybe stop going on about them so much then?

He's right though. This colony is lovely - except for the brainwashing, harrowing jingles, cheerless cheerleading, occupational hazards and the ministrations of hit security group, Ola and the Bootboys, that is.

Oh and the Macra, of course. Not that there are any Macra. Or are there...?

Well, yes there are, as the name of the story implies, and they're a crabby (and shouty) bunch of crustaceans, with their grubby pincers on the reins of power within the colony. Meanwhile, Ben goes over to the dark side, Polly gets a haircut, Jamie has a fling and the Doctor has a problem with excess gas.

But did Jim and Martin give The Macra Terror 11 out of 10? Or did it just wash over their brains?
