Time Signatures #2: The Dulcet Tones of Doctor Who
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 51 minutes and 41 secondsHi everyone, welcome to Doctor Who: Time Signatures, a podcast about the music and sound of Doctor Who.
Today's episode comes from Gallifrey One 2014, where panelists Mick Schubert, Ramie Tateishi, CJ DeAngelus, and myself (Emily) were joined by Simon Harries and Dominic Glynn to discuss putting music to the image of Doctor Who. Since we had Dominic on the panel, we picked his brain about working on Doctor Who, his process, equipment, loyalties/rights, and all sorts of other fun stuff.
The audio quality of the panel is rather poor because I recorded it on my iPhone. But it's defintely good enough for you to hear everything that is going on.
Enjoy.

Time Signatures #1 - The Time Meddler
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 9 minutes and 33 secondsHere it is! The first full episode of Doctor Who: Time Signatures.
In the first episode of Time Signatures we discuss the use sound in "The Time Meddler" from season 2 of the "classic" series of Doctor Who. If it weren't for a very clever use of a phonograph would the Doctor have figured out so quickly that something was amiss in 1066?
Our fantastic theme music is Mahamajama's "The Doctor is in Danger." Look them up on Last.fm!
