The Ood Cast S04E11- Who's That Girl (Running Around With You)?
The Ood Cast“She has a nice round face with dimples on it … and I quite like her hair.”
Doctor Who is nearly 50. It has been around for almost half a century and yet remains one of the most popular, creative and vital shows on television.
And the secret to this ridiculous longevity? Sure scripts, actors and production values play a part but the key ingredient, we would argue, is change.
The ability to renew itself, to change almost entirely and yet remain completely recognisable has emerged over the years as the programme’s greatest strength.
Now join the Ood Cast to celebrate the latest in a long glorious line of changes as Jenna-Louise Coleman is announced as the new companion.
Hear their opinions on the future of our beloved programme and then be prepared to be whisked into the recent past as Chris Sigma presents his feedback from the official convention.
Past, present, future – all of time and space is waiting for you.
Plus some people explode.

Interview with writer Gareth Roberts
The Doctor Who PodcastIn this episode of the Doctor Who Podcast Trevor was lucky enough to sit down and have a chat with writer Gareth Roberts.
Now if we had to link in the show notes to all the things Gareth has done in Doctor Who and Doctor Who related media the internet would likely melt down due to overload. Suffice to say Gareth has written for Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Big Finish. He has written short stories and full length novels featuring Doctors new and old.
The latest work from Gareth is a novelisation of the “lost” story of Doctor Who, Shada. This story has never enjoyed an official release in book form until now. Trevor talks to Gareth about the challenges of bringing this story to life in the printed form.
We also announce the winner of the Robert Shearman competition from Episode #130.

035 - Serious Series Seven Speculation
Arrow of TimeNo more fooling around, we’re back to chattin’ ’bout the Who. This here episode is one of those what-it-says-on-the-tin types. You didn’t really think I was going to come up with a more clever title? And give up all of that wonderful alliteration? In case you are not yet familiar with the series seven trailer, mash this jumble of symbols to access it: http://youtu.be/P8YLb4Z4jU0, then tune your audio machine to our latest podcast!
If you’re tiring of these bothersome things called “words,” check out this week’s WhoTube, a Ninth/Tenth/Eleventh Doctor mash-up with a twist by AceTrax2007: http://youtu.be/vpzYLdTqGGc
Musical breaks this week are the theme to Dave Allen at Large and “Swing Over” by Barbara Moore. If you can tell me what these two songs have in common, I’ll whip up a prize for you. Maybe a Donna Noble action figure or something.

The Oncoming Storm Ep5: NA #5 - Wait, Which Time Zone Are We In Again?
The Oncoming StormThis week, Josh and Ashley are still playing a bit of catchup, so they're only covering one New Adventure this episode, Marc Platt's Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible. And its a good thing too, because this book is just chock full of paradoxes and multiple time streams and it takes the full strength of your podcaster's miniscule mental capabilities to keep track of it all. Break out the pen and paper kids; you're gonna need a flow chart to follow along with this one. To finish up the episode, Ashley and Josh take a look at their first comic strip, Cat Litter, from DWM # 192. The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got cats! ...Well, not really. What's the deal with all the cat references anyway???
