After battling illness and ennui over the past week and a half, the Three Who Rule are back with a bumper episode to launch 2013, the centrepiece of which is an epic interview with Kevin Jon Davies. Davies was the director and producer of "More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS", the BBC's official 30th anniversary celebration for Doctor Who, but his connection to the worlds of Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and Blake's 7, made for a fascinating chat. Also, your three hosts run down the Christmas time viewing figures, discuss their importance, and also talk about puppies. Six weeks until Gallifrey One!

We hired a team of actuaries to research and tell us which of the Doctor’s incarnations’ episodes do we review the least often.  The unanimous response was the Ninth Doctor.  After Sean talked Steve off a windowsill after suggested “Aliens in London/World War III”, we settled on the one that started it all.

Thus, without further ado, we present our thoughts on 1980’s sitcoms with dead actors, followed by an in-depth discussion of “Rose”.

Well, it's been just over a year since we started and boy have we come a long way, and it's thanks to all of you loyal listeners!  So we would like to start by saying thank you for all of your support and we hope to grow even more in our second year!

Mirroring Doctor Who's enormous popularity, the Doctor himself has become a bigger and bigger deal in his own fictional universe, and the axis around which most of his stories have rotated in recent years.
