Rita goes bonkers for the return of Sailor Moon.A We also give our review of the new hit film The Amazing Spider-Man.

Then we go off the deep end, talking about Sci-Fi and Horror shows that are no longer on the air and we miss dearly (Yes Firefly, Stargate SG-1 and Buffy are on the list – among many others).

We have a new segment this week – the Retro Review – where we’ll give a new review of old tv shows and movies. Changing our recording time to Sunday evening sparks a podcast party and a in-at-the-deep-end scenario for new co-host Mary Lang. During all the usual mayhem we just about manage to review Stephen Greenhorn’s The Lazarus Experiment. We get invaded by The Omega Podcast (Wes, Wendell and Liz). Alicia joins us via Skype from her bedroom. Rhys gets up at 5am and Robert gets his times mixed up and joins us an hour late at 4am. Julia Bartlett-Sloan adds her voice to the pile with her dad, Kirby and finally there is a cameo appearance from Ben Shoveller. Despite all of this Mary seemed to survive her initiation.

Whilst Steve remains in an undisclosed location fighting crime and making the world a better place, Sean holds down the fort still, this time with our old friend Erika and Steven from Radio Free Skaro. Our first idea was to review "The Idiot's Lantern" in view of the diamond jubilee, then we realized this wouldn't be released until July, so you know, fuck that.

Given free reign to choose a topic, as our guests often do, Erika selected "The King's Demons", much to the chagrin of Steven and the relief of Sean who realized he only had to watch two episodes. Short and sweet? Or does this story just fester like a tiny deer turd on the forest floor. Listen and find out!
