In the midst of the heat of summer, we here at the Untempered Schism have decided to cool down and take a look at the Christmas Invasion. David Tennant's first outing as the Tenth Doctor and the first of the annual Christmas stories. It also brings with it a bevy of plot threads that will come to fruition much later on in the series. All in all it's a great way to spend Christmas in July.

Remember the good old days, the ones where everything was better then it is now? Well Ashley and Josh sure can, but they had better watch out! They're reviewing Nightshade by Mark Gatiss, and that means remembering those good old days can be dangerous. While they're dodging phantoms looking to devour their souls, Ashley and Josh are busy gushing about Mr. Gatiss's first novel. Things are looking up in the New Adventures... well, unless you're Ace, and your love life is really starting to take a turn for the worse (Thanks Doctor). Quatermass, a depressed Doctor, and the actions of lovelorn teens are all discussed here in the 17th episode of the Oncoming Storm! The Oncoming Storm... This time, we have our first ancient evil entity! Ooooooo, Our 1st one! How exciting!

A legendary story because it was never completed, Shada would have not only closed out Season 17, but would have also drawn to a conclusion an era that featured Graham Williams as producer and Douglas Adams as script editor. But it's canon, according to the BBC, so we're reviewing it here, based mostly on the 1992 VHS release. Enjoy!

Well, its taken close to six months, but Leeson has finally drawn the attention away from the other three wanabee regulars of the campervan and managed to shine the spotlight on himself.

It’s all about Leeson for this episode of the Doctor Who Podcast, where we try and help Leeson decide what classic Doctor Who episode to watch next.
