This week Phil and Paul return to Doctor Who in its audio format with a look at Big Finish Productions story Project: Twilight, a story of South East London gangsters (shut it you slags!) and vampires.  Find out whether this story holds up for them or does it have no bite? (I am so sorry for that bad play on words.  I shall ruminate on my behaviour and it will not happen again.  Thank you.)

And in this weeks news we find out when Doctor Who returns to our screens in 2013, the sad passing of two of the UK's legends of broadcasting in which Phil confuses his Kenneth's and the results of a recent of Doctor Who memorabilia auction.  And Omega's Tat Corner makes a welcome return to the show with a very expensive but snazzy piece of tat and more disappointing figures to collect.

But they are amping up the enthusiasm of the Three Who Rule for this year's Yuletide offering, which is surely a good thing after the slim pickings of 2011's The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. Another good thing is the interview from Chicago TARDIS with Toby Hadoke, a friend of the show, gentleman actor and all around great fella. Bask in his wisdom and delight in his wit! Immediately!

So far The Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbra have seen quite a few things in their travels, from Marco Polo to everyone's favorite static powered pepper pots. Yes, it's everyone's worst Christmas nightmare – an enormous Brussels Sprout with its accompanying surfeit of methane. Only this time it's a giant squid god who menaces a model, gives a Time Lord a tentacular tourniquet and reminds some Swampies that it really isn't easy being green. 

Romana goes off seafood, the Doctor loves the sound of breaking glass and Thawn hates just about anyone who isn't Thawn. 

Green crevices, bushy gates and the imminent threat of dangly-bit exposure must have kept Mary Whitehouse on full alert but did The Power of Kroll float Jim and Martin's canoes?
