You may have heard of a little show called I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! which has been going for quite some time in the UofK.  D-List celebrities are thrown into an Australian wilderness area and forced to eat bugs, undertake ridiculous challenges and spending long nights trying to figure out who is the least obscure amongst them.

Our very own Doctor Who, Colin Baker is making an appearance this season, and James and Trevor chat about just why the Doctor of the multi-coloured coat is willing to make a multi-coloured fool of himself on this program.

The boys also chat about our very own Michele’s appearance at the upcoming Chicago TARDIS, and we launch yet another incredible competition for a very special prize that is definately worth fighting for.

Well I do declare, that dog-gone Oncoming Storm has done gone and got itself a new episode! Episode 35 in fact, and those scalawags Josh and Ashley are lookin' at a doozy of a story, Minuet in Hell by Alan W. Lear & Gary Russell. Yessir, those boys are deep in the south of America... or least what people think what the south of America is like, much to these southern boys chagrin. There's talk about accents... a whole mess o' talk about accents. Once that's out of the way, Josh and Ashley somehow find some time to actually talk about the plot of the story, whether it's debating the merits of sending old men on spy missions, or if demons have a place in Doctor Who. The travellers soon discover that the planet's population is divided into two castes, and that the professed idyll of the Elders - who inhabit a technologically advanced city - seems oddly dependent upon the unsophisticated savages.

Fresh off of the first half of Series Seven, we just couldn’t get enough of the Eleventh Doctor.  At the behest of our friend Erik from The Doctor Who Book Club Podcast, we watched and discussed “The Big Bang” and “The Pandorica Opens” with him.  For those of you that listen to the very best in Doctor Who podcasting, you may know that Sean and Steve appeared on A Mostly Harmless Cutaway with our other friends Eric and Josh when these episodes first aired.  Have our opinions changed after viewing it again.  Is Erik alone in thinking this two-parter is the bee’s knees?

As usual, the cocktails flowed freely (at least for two of us, ahem) and we saw a mutual friend of the podcast, Erika (whom you may recall from our “Pertwee Extravaganza” not long ago), and asked her to join the fray.  The result is an hour and 47 minutes of insightful philosophical discussion on the story.  Also, we get really drunk.
