Doctor Who is back again for the third week running! We’re getting spoiled, aren’t we? In any case, Tom and Louis have turned their attention toward “A Town Called Mercy.”

As Doctor Who returns to TV with its most recent series, The Untempered Schism is looking back at the start of the last series and The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon. We get to deal with crazy time travel confusion, strange little girls, the Silence and Richard Nixon… not to mention the lack of cliffhanger resolutions. Too big to be contained in one episode and too confusing to be understood over the length of the season, but at least the location shooting looks fantastic!

It’s podKast time, Kasterborites, and we have a great show (we’re a “show” now) in store for you this week!

For the first half, Brian and James will chat about last week’s Doctor Who, A Town Called Mercy, and discuss the impact of the episode, plotting, characterization and all of the usual in-depth discussion and observations.

We’ve also got an interview with Ryan Hendrick, whose Doctor Who fan film Besieged is set to be released at the end of September. Built up from a much shorter film released in 2010, the movie is a Doctor Who/Alien crossover. If the trailer is anything to go by, this will certainly be worth watching!

Dennis Black-and-Asian returns to help us discuss Doctor Who Season 1, Episode 10, “The Doctor Dances.”

We rejoin our heroes as they unravel the mystery of the strange plague which rewrites human DNA to give people stylish gas masks and scars on the backs of their hands. We last left them surrounded by a horde of zombies looking for their Mummy. When the Doctor orders the child to his room, all of them obey.

They investigate the child's room in the hospital and experiment with "dancing" after a quick chase through the hospital, pursued by the zombies. When Nancy is captured by the military, her path once again crosses the Doctor, Rose and Jack.

Jack saves the day in the end, by capturing the bomb that was set to destroy the ambulance. The Doctor and Rose in turn rescue him and prepare to take him on their next adventure. Your face red, your eyes wet. Doctor when his pants fell.

There's soldiers, gunrunners, androids, a rubbish monster, a revenge-seeking hairy-handed, Peri-infatuated madman and an evil and ruthless bag of slime. Can the Doctor weave his way through them all and save Peri? Only just...
