David and Marty enjoy a nice afternoon Cricket match in 1925 England and discuss DVD Extras, Doctor Who conventions and read listener feedback emails.

In this week’s episode we put aside our views and reviews, and let a few Doctor Who fans take the lead. First is an interview with a family fast becoming a favorite on the local con circuit with a passion that started as a Boy Scout project.

Then we’ll here from one of the funniest performers I have seen doing Doctor Who satire/comedy.

Also, we look at the news of the week, including some discussion about next year’s Gallifrey One con selling out in the first 75 minutes.

And, of course, your feedback.

Timey Wimey Puppet Show

Man this week we were all exhausted, but even though we had to put an episode together to tell all of you the good news!  Oh, I guess I can just tell you here also.  We will be on a panel at Chi-Fi 0 on Saturday March 29th at 9pm about Doctor Who Fandom!  Yup!  We will be joined by our good friend Lauren from Geek Girl Chicago and Jef Burnham, moderated by DePaul University Professsor Paul Booth!   So other than that, we talk about K9 some more, have some news and discuss the Doctors Bow tie and Jacket colors.  So thanks for listening, thanks for the support and if you're in the Chicagoland area March 29th drop by the Palmer House Hilton and check out Chi-Fi 0!

Having escaped the hungry clutches of the cannibalistic John Branigan and his cohorts, our heroes catch their breath in the forest…however, is something large and dangerous hunting them?  Have they (almost literally) jumped from the frying pan into the fire?

We take what precious time we have left to discuss “The Awakening”, that precocious story featuring the Fifth Doctor, Tegan, and Turlough.  Also, much to the frustration of one cohost, we take a listen to the short story “Special Features”from Big Finish’s The Demons of Red Lodge and Other Stories.
