Waffle On about Event Horizon

Its our 2022 Halloween special and what better way than a bit of classic 90's Sci-Fi Horror. This film amazingly bombed at the cinema but found its audience via video and later DVD's. It a good old gory film but gory in the right places. Starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neil this film really does tick the boxes for a good old Halloween viewing. 

Meds and Kell also talk about the latest Dr Who episode, Star Trek and a strange tv series on Netflix called 28 days Haunting, its so bad its good..... kind of.

Here’s El Sandifer’s essay on The Name of the Doctor, and this is how she describes Richard E Grant as the Great Intelligence: “But Grant is putting no effort into the part, playing him as a cliched bit of leering smugness. The Night of the Doctor gave us a new and unexpected insight into the Time War, as we heard about the conflict through the eyes of Cass - played by Emma Campbell-Jones - and did so much world building in seconds.
