It's time for Nine. Christopher Eccleston gave us one year as the Doctor, so we give him part of an episode. This week we also talk about the Ninth Doctor episode Dal...ehem, Pepperpot (no sense antagonizing them).

Radio Free Skaro #390 - The Watcher
Radio Free SkaroIt was one of the more exciting weeks in Doctor Who recently with global cinema screenings of "The Day of The Doctor" being announced around the world, and Big Finish's 50th anniversary story "The Light At The End" being given an early release, one month before the actual anniversary itself. The resulting chaos showed that no internet site knows the wrath of an impatient group of Doctor Who fans, but at the end of the day, thousands of fans will be watching the 50th Anniversary story in 3D together in cinemas (the Three Who Rule included!) on November 23 and 25. Once the furore of this died down on the podcast, the Skaro boys turn back the clock to delve into the first half of the John Nathan-Turner era in the Miniscope, with the wonderful Rob Shearman!

TDP 478: Big Finish 4th Doctor Adventures - 4.05. SUBURBAN HELL
Tin Dog Podcast@bigfinish @Lou_Jameson #doctorwho #tindogpodcast Somewhere in a suburb of North London, there's a crisis. More than a crisis, a positive disaster: Belinda and Ralph are expecting four for supper, and there's no Marie Rose sauce for the Prawns Marie Rose. All in all, the evening couldn't possibly get any worse... Until the doorbell rings, bringing the Doctor and Leela to the dinner party. They've got a crisis, too - temporal ruckage has sent the TARDIS to another time zone entirely. Meaning they might have to endure a whole evening in Belinda's company. But the Doctor and Leela aren't the only uninvited guests tonight. There's a strange fog falling, out in the road. And in that fog: savage blue-skinned monsters, with dinner party plans of their own. Because it's not Prawns Marie Rose on their menu - it's people! Written By: Alan BarnesDirected By: Nicholas Briggs Cast Tom Baker (The Doctor), Louise Jameson (Leela), Annette Badland (Thelma),Katy Wix (Belinda), Alix Dunmore (Penny/Acolyte), Raymond Coulthard(Ralph/Second Acolyte), David Ricardo-Pearce (Pete/Priest). And as this was recorded last week they pretend there wasn't any news to talk about but then Phil invades from the future and brings you news on what happened in the week with the early release of the Big Finish 50th Anniversary story Light At The End and what is happening at the BFI!

The PodKast that Wasn't at SDCC
Kasterborous PodkastChristian Cawley is a writer at Kasterborous Doctor Who News and Reviews - All the latest Doctor Who news and reviews with our weekly podKast, features and interviews, and a long-running forum.
Curious things took place at the K Towers virtual studio this week, resulting in an hour long podKast that somehow went unrecorded! Being the passionate Doctor Who fans that we are, of course, we pushed on, recording an approximation of the original that attempts to be as honest and genuine as possible.Sadly, one key result of this is the minimal presence of Brian Terranova, who could only hang around as long as the intro. However, we think you’ll agree that his intro is perhaps one of our best yet, and is one that sets up the rest of the show perfectly. This week, we cover the San Diego Comic Con, namely the trailers for An Adventure in Space and Time and the Doctor Who 50th anniversary – and the crucial matter of Karen Gillan’s newly-shorn locks.

Scrolls V2, Chapter 2: Off-Kilter
Geek SyndicateHello there, thanks for joining us again on our jaunt through the joyous worlds of fantasy, science fiction and horror. Who knows what we may find? (Well I do, I suppose.) Here's a quick run down -News Bites:Before any journey it's always best to fortify yourself, so we take a bit of time to chew over the latest literary events.Author's Delight:We begin with a short stroll in the company of a seasoned explorer - a chance to chat with an author about one of their all-time favourite reads. On this occasion we're joined by Adam Christopher from Angry Robot, to discuss Veronica. The Flash Fiction Challenge:Our listeners take a short dash up the creative slope each month in our writing challenge. In this segment we read out the top tales and talk about them.Night at the Round Table:The picnic blankets out and the wine has begun to flow. Must be time to take in the view, show down and indulge in a rambling discussion.Author Interview:Finally, we metaphorically hole-up in a pub, get drunk and talk to strangers until the taxi turns up. Fortunately, James Treadwell is a congenial companion, as well as a damned fine writer.Competition time:On the way home we rashly offer up not one, but two great books in a dead easy competition, because you're our Best Friend and we Love you. No, no, we really Do! (Ooh. Is it me or has the world gone a bit spinny?)Contact us via e-mail at scrolls@hotmail.co.uk / tweet @Dion_Scrolls @Phlambler or @Gouldshire or leave us your thoughts with your actual voice by Skyping me at dion.winton.polakScrolls is looking for a lighter and more agile format, so listen in horrified fascination as the very hungrycaterpillars continue their metamorphosis. Feedback is welcomed in the Comments section below (as are author recommendations and ways to squeeze more reading time out of a jam-packed week!)

Radio Free Skaro #481 - Tin Can Danny
Radio Free SkaroThe news reached dire levels of non-existence this week, but the Three Who Rule soldiered on in exactly the sort of way Twelve would have roundly disapproved of. Despite there being little movement other than comic book rumblings (in the fall, no less!) there was a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of the commentary for "Death In Heaven", with none other than the inestimable J.R. Southall of the Blue Box Podcast and Starburst Magazine lending us his sharp eye, keen brain and devastating wit.
