The Others Podcast is made up of the forgotten Omega Podcast team – they record podcasts NOT in the Name of the Omega Podcast but in the name of peace and sanity!! Made up of the likes of Bill Evenson, Robert Franks, Jeff Ovik and loosely moderated by Greg Bakun this is a very casual round table discussion. The discussion is a loose live commentary on The Name of the Doctor and the conversation moves to the overall Moffat era, the 50th Anniversary, River Song and wine. This podcast could easily be perceived as negative but these are very blunt, truthful and possibly outspoken views about a program these people truly love.

There is a lot of laughing, fun topics and general silliness by a group of friends who wanted to record their thoughts and reactions on the finale to Series 7b and the state of the series as they see it. There may be possible spoilers to the 50th anniversary special but nothing that hasn’t been reported in the British tabloids. If you hear liquid spilling, do not be afraid it is just someone filling up their glass with wine.

Change of schedule because last weekend I attended a special screening of the Peter Cushing Dalek movies in Hammersmith, West London there was cake, merchandise and two special guests actor Ray Brookes "The Man With The Knack" from Daleks Invasion Earth 2150AD and producer/director Kevin Davies maker of the documentary Dalekmania, tribute was also paid to Peter Cushing who would have been 100 this week(hence the cake)

The Oncoming Storm episode 61 sees Josh triumphantly returning from Timegate, his weary arms full of audio gold after an exhausting convention. And who is he going to celebrate this with this week? Why, It's ... just Ashley, hobbling along as he returns from breaking his leg. Both host's weeks are discussed before turning the episode over to the one and only Andrew Cartmel! Yes, Josh was able to ply Mr. Cartmel with a nice dinner in order to sit down for a lengthy interview about Andrew's career in Doctor Who, after the show was off the air. This week in part 1, Andrew talks about the days right after the show went off the air and his days writing for Virgin.
