We have enjoyed hearing all of Chrissy’s reports and would like to thank her for contributing such wonderful content for our show.

We are rapidly approaching fifty years of Doctor Who, and so we’d like to take some time to reflect upon the eleven incarnations of the show’s title role. No, not all at once, even we’re not that crazy/drunk, just one per week until the 50th Anniversary special. Since we’re doing these all chronological like, first up we focus on William Hartnell (which of course means we talk at length about Batman). From humble beginnings as someone who wasn’t portraying the Doctor, Hartnell charmed his way into our hearts by wearing a funny little purse hat, flubbing his lines a lot, and being generally disagreeable toward other characters and sometimes inanimate objects.

Bannerman Road has seen many interesting things, alien poets, robot dogs and even one Sarah Jane Smith (but no Chimeron Princesses). Of course there is another alien invasion lurking around the corner, this time using soda. Luckily even evil aliens have to follow truth in labeling laws, so we know this is the Invasion of the Bane.

And what evil plot do the Daleks have this time? Would you believe a dastardly scheme to ... preserve Shakespeare??? Step through the looking glass with your hosts as they discuss topics like, "do we really need another Dalek story at this point?", or  "Why is Shakespeare in this at all???" The Oncoming Storm... This time, we travel through time using tin foil. And yes, that works. Somehow.

If there's one thing we both love, it's films and television shows on Blu-Ray. If there's one thing Steve is kind of ambivalent about, it's the Pertwee era. Put the two together, and we couldn't resist talking about the recent release of "Spearhead from Space" on Blu-Ray.

Disclaimer 1: This is not an intervention. Steve purchased the copy of "Spearhead from Space" on his own volition and with his own money. We planned to do something else for this episode, but it fell through, and so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to talk about it.

Disclaimer 2: This description makes it appear as though Steve was dragged kicking and screaming into this project by Sean, and this episode will consist primarily of Steve grumbling and Sean squeeing. You might just be surprised.
