A double bill of episode commentaries this week, as we barrel towards the conclusion of Season 1.

In this weeks show Paul and Phil have browsed the book shelves and stumbled across the Target novelisation of An Unearthly Child to review.  Is this book up their with Terrance Dicks better novelisations or is it just a bland translation of the TV serial?  Along the way, they discover that fate decided just how this book would turn out.

However, all of this pales into insignificance as the big news this week is that 9, count them, 9 episodes of previously missing Doctor Who stories from the Troughton era have been returned to the BBC and were released to the excited public.  So tune in to hear Phil and Paul throw pessimism to the wind and hear them embrace optimism and celebrate this wonderful news.  And also, Neve McIntosh wants to sex up Doctor Who.  Ooer missus!!

Naturally, the Three Who Rule felt compelled to give you their thoughts on both "The Enemy of the World" and "The Web of Fear", unseen for decades, but they also bring you interviews with the esteemed Paul Cornell, who talks about "Scream of the Shalka" (now out on DVD), his upcoming comic, The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who, which will close out IDW Publishing's Doctor Who series, and an exclusive Doctor Who book-related announcement. And we all also talk to Graeme Burk and Robert Smith?, authors of the phenomenal new book Who's 50. So much for a week off! Next week: the beginning of the second half our popular Producer Miniscope series!
