068 - Professor Who
Arrow of TimeWe continue our progression with Doctor number seven! That’s right, we’ve arrived at Percy James Patrick Kent-Smith, better known to his fans as Sylvester McCoy. I usually ramble on a bit here, but this week I’ll let Dave’s excellent picture do the talking. Well, that and the podcast, there’s lots of talking there, I’m sure.
Our WhoTube this week is another fine
Babelcolour tribute called “The Little Man”:
http://youtu.be/egD2ucWon-MAlso, here is the Stonehenge speech

The Doctor Who PodcastIn a bonus edition of The Doctor Who Podcast, we bring you the first in a mini-series of interviews with writers who have become synonymous with Doctor Who fiction, either through writing books, Big Finish audios or extensive articles for Doctor Who Magazine – or in many cases, all three!
First up, it’s Jonathon Morris who takes time out from his appearance at Big Finish Day 3 to speak to us. Jonny’s back catalogue of Doctor Who output is vast – and is still growing. He’s the author of over 40 Big Finish audio plays and four original Doctor Who novels for the BBC. Check out his blog – it makes facinating reading.
In this interview he talks to Tony and Laura, our intrepid roving reporters at about writing, missing episodes and how it feels to put words into the mouths of actors we became familiar with by watching them on the telly all those years ago.
Many thanks to both Big Finish Productions and to 10th Planet Events for allowing us to cover the event. Enjoy the show!

5.04 The Enemy of the World
Drunken Time TravelSecond Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria Patrick Troughten plays not only The Doctor in this one, but also The Enemy of the World too. Listen as English Gav slowly loses the ability to speak and find out what the newly released Jeff scene is. No sooner have The Doctor, Jamie and Victoria landed on a sun-kissed Australian beach than they are being shot at by murderous fanatics! A dramatic helicopter rescue places them in the hands of Astrid Ferrier and Giles Kent, two people intent on bringing about the downfall of the world's most dangerous man - who happens to look exactly like The Doctor. Salamander's sun-catcher technology has been hailed as the answer to all the world's food problems. Yet is there more to his prediction of natural disasters than meets the eye? Could it be that the death and destruction which he appears to foretell is in fact of his own creation? Episodes: 6 Written by: David WhitakerDirected by: Barry Letts

PodKasting from the Doctor Who Missing Episodes Event!
Kasterborous PodkastChristian Cawley is a writer at Kasterborous Doctor Who News and Reviews - All the latest Doctor Who news and reviews with our weekly podKast, features and interviews, and a long-running forum.
This week’s podKast brings a selection of interviews from the recent Doctor Who missing episodes event in London. Thanks to Gareth Kavanagh you can expect to hear from Frazer Hines and Deborah Watling – who both appeared in the recovered episodes of The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear as companions Jamie McCrimmon and Victoria Waterfield – and writer Mark Gatiss, whose passion for the London Underground leads him to tell us something about an upcoming Sherlock episode…
All of this means, however, that the usual trio of Christian, James and Brian has been dispensed with for a week. Instead, Christian and Gareth Kavanagh, editor of Vworp Vworp! and our man on the ground at the event, discuss and introduce clips from the exciting day in London in which long lost episodes of Doctor Who were screened for the first time in 45 years!
