Stories From The Vortex: A Doctor Who Audio Adventures Podcast
This episode finds Matthew Kresal, Mary Lang and Robert Haynes engaging in the podcast's first foray into Big Finish non-Doctor Who output with another icon of British science fiction: Blake's 7.
Reviewing The Liberator Chronicles Volume 1 and Warship, topics discussed include how newbie friendly these audios are from Matthew and Mary while Robert gives the perspective of a long time fan, why "enhanced audiobooks" may be a misnomer in the case of The Liberator Chronicles and more.

Episode 103: By Any Other Name
The TARDIS TavernWe hired a team of actuaries to research and tell us which of the Doctor’s incarnations’ episodes do we review the least often. The unanimous response was the Ninth Doctor. After Sean talked Steve off a windowsill after suggested “Aliens in London/World War III”, we settled on the one that started it all.
Thus, without further ado, we present our thoughts on 1980’s sitcoms with dead actors, followed by an in-depth discussion of “Rose”.
Don’t like us? Think we’re a couple of drunks that are too big for our britches? Then go listen to Radio Free Skaro and email us at tardistavern@gmail, like us on Facebook, or follow Sean on Twitter via @tardistavern. (Note for the noobs: the Facebook page gets a lot more action than the Twitter account.)

2MTL 335: Bigger Than Life
Two-minute Time LordMirroring Doctor Who's enormous popularity, the Doctor himself has become a bigger and bigger deal in his own fictional universe, and the axis around which most of his stories have rotated in recent years. Is it time to dial things back? Maybe even go back to the old, formulaic days of having random adventures and moving on?

This episode has been lost.
The Sonic ToolboxThis week was supposed to be Episode 121 and we were going to review Series 3 of Sherlock. We did record it, however, during editing the computer crashed and most of the audio was lost. There is not enough left that makes sense. I guess it's just as well since Daisy was sick and coughed throughout the recording and almost lost her voice by the end.
Our next episode is our Gallifrey One pre-con show.

Episode 3: The Episode With Nothing in it
Trust Your DoctorWe didn’t have anything to say.
Everything’s ok though, we somehow found 30 minutes of content about a 2 episode serial, The Edge of Destruction, written by David Whitaker and aired in February, 1964. We forgot to mention the name of the serial we are watching next week, which is Marco Polo.

It's only teenage wasteland
Who's He?It's that time of the month when the Who's He? Podcast look to providing you all with an audio commentary and for your delectation, they have selected The Krotons! So thrill as Phil, Paul and a returning Tony sit down and suffer episodes 1 and 2 of this fondly remembered fan favourite (was the sarcasm filter working there?). During this episode they ponder the existence of Brummie sounding South Africans, glam rock gods and whether or not you can still buy Cadbury's Smash.
And in the news this week, Doctor Who scoops a few awards, Phil gets disappointed at The Web of Fear DVD, an update on Christmas Log the lonely K9 knockoff and in Omega's Tat Corner the new 12th Doctor action figure is discussed and compared to an obscure 1970's pop star and a night light that is billed as some kind of personal attack button.

Radio Free Skaro #404 - Page Not Found
Radio Free SkaroIn the dog days before the wondrous rapture that is the Gallifrey convention in the greater Los Angeles area, the news was sparse and the fans were restless. However, the reveal of Peter Capaldi’s 12th Doctor costume sparked not only excitement and fevered speculation across Who fandom but was also the cause of an ill-advised tangent on cosplay by Warren, Steven, and Chris, who know less than nothing about such matters and have been replaced by trained seals in 6th Doctor costumes. Next week, the semi-demi-official Gallifrey 2014 preview episode! But for now, a commentary by the Three Who Rule for "The Day of the Doctor"!
