On this week's episode Matt and Nuala join us via Skype, from Ireland! Join us as we discuss "Escape to LA" and "The Categories of Life", the fourth and fifth episodes respectivly, of Torchwood: Miracle Day. Unfortunately, Nuala remembers nothing about the former, and we all may need therapy to deal with the gruesome end of the latter. So join us, won't you?

A stunned and mostly silent Paul and Phil are back with their views on Torchwood: Miracle Day episode 5. The reason they are stunned and silent (well, to begin with) is that they both enjoyed this episode. Who'd have thought it possible!! However, whilst discussing how Oswald Danes character is fitting into the story, it gives Phil a chance to rant against the cult of celebrity and Paul a chance to come up with a tagline for the podcast. Oh and Paul forgets how to talk and Phil comes up with a solution to his predicament.

Lucky podcast number 13 finds us taking on a serial that has been consistently heralded as one of the greatest and most important in the history of Doctor Who: 1975's "Genesis of the Daleks", staring Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor. Torchwood continues its Miracle Day run with episode 6 and the lads sink their teeth into... well, there's not much to sink their teeth into this week, is there? Nevertheless, rampant mastication of the worthy bits kills some time as we wait for more Doctor Who and for Torchwood to do something... anything. Also, lamentably, the Summer Classic Commentary Series comes to the end as the Three Who Rule tackle The Invasion's latter episodes with their usual flare and panache and with the able assistance of their seagull frenemies.

Almost two years ago, on November 1, 2009, (back when there were only eight or so Doctor Who podcasts) we unleashed out first episode of The TARDIS Tavern onto an unwilling public.  Six months later, somebody actually started listening to us.

We would like to dedicate our 50th episode to every one of you who has ever downloaded and listened to one of our episodes, particularly those of you who have listened from the beginning or gone back and reviewed those that you missed.  We would also like to thank every one of our guest bartenders: David Hooie, Louis Trapani, Erik Stadnik, Liz Peloso, Josh Zimon, Eric Escamilla, Katrina Griffiths, Wes and Wendell Duellman, Adam and Alicia Pearson, John Branigan, Chris Burgess, and Marty Hooie.  Also, a very special "Huzzah!" to John "Cyber Testicle" Branigan for procurring the signed photo from Sylvester McCoy, who no doubt thinks we're an old gay couple celebrating our anniversary.

Did we say Tuesday release dates again? Ah, that was just crazy talk. Once again suffering from a host of technical plagues, Alex and Nick are joined by Maddie to discuss Torchwood: Miracle Day episodes 2-5.

There is much criticism to be levelled & praise to be given, & one host (possibly a guest host) gets so passionate the censorship button has to be pressed a couple of times! It's really not as scandelous as it seems.
