This month we talk about the brilliant 1998 gangster comedy Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. this film launched the directorial career of Guy Ritchie and launched the acting career of Jason Statham. The film has a plethora of British talent including Jason Flemyng, Nick Moran, Dexter Fletcher and Vinnie Jones. It has a brilliant script and we add in some samples from the film for your 9and of course our) enjoyment.

Resolved: There's absolutely nothing wrong with Doctor Who being made for kids AND adults, regardless of what comedian David Mitchell says. I'm more worked up about kids' properties being taken over BY adults, such as The Transformers, than about adults sharing in the enjoyment of a program that appeals to all ages.

Bit of a shorter one than usual due to technology hating us, but the guys still manage to tear into progs 1699 and "jumping on prog" 1700. Flint attempts to convince everyone Aquaman doesnt suck and Rich has FINALLY gotten around to checking out some of Dante's backstory.It'll put a tiger in your goddamn tank! As ever, spoilers throughout and non kiddie friendly language.

Hey! It's the fifth episode of the new Cloister Room podcast, a podcast about Doctor Who and other things. I say "new," but we're five episodes in. So maybe I'll stop calling it that now.

This week, the "Doctor Who" is the Jon Pertwee story "Inferno." The "Other Things" include The Walking Dead, Avatar, Lost, Fringe, and some obscure game Louis likes!

Next week, we'll be talking about "Genesis of the Daleks," featuring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. The week after that we'll be talking about a Fifth Doctor story... of your choosing!
