This episode was shot in the same locations as some of the classic spaghetti westerns and features a terminator-esque character called the Gunslinger what could possibly go wrong? Yes, welcome to the audio equivalent of valium!  This week Phil & Paul turn their attentions to A Town Called Mercy, the latest episode in this run of Doctor Who.  After a couple of weeks of not agreeing with each other, will this week be any different?  However be assured that during this weeks podcast references will be made to Red Dwarf, Star Wars, The Terminator, Firefly, West World and erm.....Bootle Saddles!

And in the news, the overnight ratings for Dinosaurs On A Spaceship, more awards success for Doctor Who and an event at the end of September that neither Phil nor Paul can attend.  Again.

Steven returns this week to the Radio Free Skaro fold after spending the previous week in a Doctor Who-less desolation in the form of the lakes area of Northern Wisconsin. A completely different desolate location (namely, Almeria, Spain) served as the backdrop of Episode Three of Series 7a of Doctor Who, A Town Called Mercy, a sharp-looking homage to the many spaghetti Westerns that were filmed in its environs. The Three Who Rule were surprisingly all on the same page when it comes to how well writer Toby Whithouse, director Saul Metzstein, and the rest of the team brought this episode to being... Also, an unexpected deluge of viewing figures dominates the news list, but is punctuated by the unqualified ratings success of Doctor Who on SPACE in Canada and the gradual realization that what has always been a niche show north of the 49th parallel is becoming part of the mainstream. And, no, we don't know how to deal with that, either.

Two rock bands, both from the UK (kind of) and both with very metal attitudes. Yes its Bad News from TV's the comic strip and Americas cult classic film This is Spinal Tap coming together in one big old podcast. Both Meds and Kell are big fans of the Comic Strip and also the writing talents of the creators of Spinal Tap and they decided to not just waffle on about one of the films but both of them. The show is packed with musical numbers from both bands and of course your usual waffle on banter.

Just a note a few of the numbers do contain a bit of language and the odd innuendo (and why not we say)
