Radio Free Skaro #393 - Flight Through Eternity
Radio Free SkaroWith less than a week until "The Day of the Doctor", the Two Who Rule (Warren and Steven, Chris was on assignment with UNIT) were positively giddy with anticipation for the 50th anniversary adventure to hit their eye bulbs in glorious 3D. But before that momentous event, the BBC released “The Night of the Doctor,” with a shocking appearance by Paul McGann! Lest you think that was the only treat for Whovians this week, a 2-minute clip from Day of the Doctor was also released in conjunction with Children in Need (which we will not discuss here, spoilerphobes), and various idents and other fripfrap also helped to fuel the hype machine. But, let’s be honest, what you’re really here for is our final Miniscope, this time with Richard Molesworth (author of a new book called "Robert Holmes: A Life in Words") discussing the Phillip Hinchcliffe era. We’ve very much enjoyed doing these Miniscopes, and we hope you’ve enjoyed listening to them. And three lucky listeners won copies of Adventures with the Wife in Space, written by friend of the show (and last week’s guest!) Neil Perryman! Who were the winners? You’ll just have to listen to find out!

Staggering Stories Commentary #101: Doctor Who - The Five Doctors
Staggering Stories PodcastSummary:
Preempting our scheduled commentary due to British celebratory statute:Adam J Purcell, Andy Simpkins, Fake Keith, Jean Riddler, the Real Keith Dunn and Scott Fuller sit down, mind probed, in front of the 1983 Doctor Who anniversary special, The Five Doctors, and spout more than our usual nonsense and generally get in the mood for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary!
Warning: This commentary is at least three times more boisterous than our average effort. Do not listen if you have a history of mind probing in your family or you have ever lost a beloved pet yeti in a freak fireworks accident.
The Doctor is plucking at the harp strings, the Doctor is playing with his Galactic Glitter, the Doctor is taking Rassilon’s tower from above, the Doctor is trapped in some film offcuts and the Doctor is a fake. But enough of their problems, please sit down with us to enjoy Doctor Who’s Twentieth Anniversary Special – The Five Doctors...

Arrow of TimeSomething that rhymes with eleven, it’s time for Doctor eleven! That’s right, with only a week to go until the 50th Anniversary we talk about Matt Smith for a surprisingly long time considering we’ve been podcasting about him for years now. Nevertheless, people grow and opinions change, so grab your quirky friend Geoff and enjoy this eleventieth and final ode to the Doctors (at least, for now)!
Your WhoTubes twain are not from Babelcolour, but instead are listed thus:
