A few days ago the Doctor Who World Tour lauched in Wales so a short interview with the 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi via BBC Radio Wales, also this week I attended the Nine Worlds Geekfest in London so here's my chat with writer LM Myles who organised the Dr Who track at that convention.

Newsmageddon continues! With only two weeks to go before the premiere of Deep Breath across the planet, the Doctor Who hype machine is in full swing, from the world tour making it’s way through the UK before heading overseas to early reviews of the premiere episode (all spoiler-free, of course.) Online content, the Moff saying stuff that may or may not be true and so….much…more. But that’s not all! We also have the final Miniscope of the year, this time profiling BBC Radiophonic Workshop composer Jonathan Gibbs with the help of eminent smart music lady Emily Kausalik from the Doctor Who: Time Signatures podcast! Huzzah!

After a relatively disappointing last few years of Doctor Who comics, will this be the renaissance your hosts are hoping for, or will they continue to be disappointed? The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got two new companions and a giant alien muppet dog! It's as cool as it sounds.

Our the latest podcast we invite another guest to present a selection of exhibits for permanent display in The Whoseum and to talk to us about why they touch his Doctor Who fan’s heart.

Our guest this time is Simon Brett – one of The Five Faces of Delusion running The Blue Box Podcast, illustrator for much of the Doctor Who content in Starburst Magazine, husband, father and all-round good egg.

Simon (for it is he) presents exhibits which spark talk amongst other things of General Ironicus’ purple light, the use of disposable lighters in the marketing of Doctor Who Weekly, setting up your own Doctor Who convention from scratch and leads to an impassioned defence of the BBC licence fee. Along the way, The Rev launches his one-man campaign for Hull to host the Olympics, Doc takes the media to task for tacitly insulting every city in the UK except Glasgow and Al finally discovers the limits of Doc’s interest in comic strip art.
