After his experiment with a podcast labour saving device proves problematic, Richard welcomes back the now famous Paul and Giles to look at a couple of Dalek stories: with the 2nd Doctor's debut in Power of the Daleks, followed by the 11th Doctor's first encounter with them in Victory of the Daleks. This gives us a chance to have a look at the recently re-animated Power and compare it with the story it inspired, Victory. From a story where people will stop at nothing to achieve their goals to another where love saves the day. Join Deb, Erika, and Kat as Deb makes us defend topics provided by Tom and Jessica, who are "In Defense Of" champions in their own right, thanks to a rousing final round at this year's Gallifrey One live panel. We don't end by singing like Tom and Jessica did, but we do have a jolly good time!
