So, remember the last time The Oncoming Storm reviewed audios, and how no one got along? Well, welcome to the sequel! And with all sequels, its bigger and bloodier than ever! The Oncoming Storm episode 185 sees Josh, Jeff, Ashley, and Rachel lacing up their boxing gloves and getting into the ring of online reviews! The first bout is over The Magic Mousetrap by Matthew Sweet. Things get a little heated as they discuss this 7th Doctor story about memory and the return of an old foe. Luckily, everyone gets a breather when Iterations of I by John Dorney is discussed, and everyone enjoys the return of Adric! It doesn't last though when the Sarah Jane Adventures story, Deadly Download by Jason Arnopp is the subject and Josh gets a bee in his bonnet over it! Not to be outdone, Jeff has serious issues as we visit The Horror of Glam Rock by Paul Magrs. Jeff REALLY doesn't like Josh and Rachel's beloved Glam music, and isn't afraid to show it! Does everyone make it out alive? Will Ashley get a word in anywhere? Join us and find out! The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got swears galore. Josh is a potty mouth. The management apologizes on his behalf.

Our US listeners will be pleased to know that The Power of the Daleks, the upcoming animated restore of the lost story, will be in cinemas on 14th November, a few days before it airs on TV. Check out the Fathom Events site for more details.

Character Toys have released the first image for a new 5.5 inch figure which is the 10th Doctor in Tuxedo. It looks, well, rubbish but maybe a suitable addition to your collection if you’re into your figures.

“Kill the Moon” Review

Another often divided story and one that came under a lot of flack when it first went out. Capaldi’s fun trip to the moon soon turns sour but does this one provide enough gravitas with the story or are we left feeling the coldness of space?

And there was no better time to make this milestone as this past weekend where we celebrated at Time Eddy II, the Wichita Doctor Who convention right here in our home state of Kansas. We came back exhausted from the event, but with some memories that we will cherish forever.

It’s a long episode this week, the longest we’ve produced in some time, But, we hope it will be worth it as we talk about our weekend adventure at a convention that should be heralded as a premiere event for years to come.
