106. Skagra's Big Baw
On the Time LashOn the Time Lash: The College Years opens with a discussion of 2017's The Pilot and the unfinished 1980 serial Shada. In other words, it's Joy Division and cheap lager v.s bicycles and acapella choo-choos. Is The Pilot really a fresh start? Who or what influenced Steven Moffat's re-imagining of the 12th Doctor as an educator? What happens when you add orange juice to Vodka and Coke? Just what is the definitive version of Shada and what the bloody hell does Kylie Minogue have to do with all of this? Also: The Degsestial Funmaker pays a long overdue visit to launch a new series of Degsey's Where Did it Come? Game, Ben and Mark ponder when Doctor Who last excited them and Ben shares quite a moving story about the personal connections he has to Douglas Adams' great unfinished work. Buy us a pint here

Episode 33: Dream Teams
Something WhoSteven Schapansky is back for a second stint on Something Who, and we've got a new conceit for the occasion. Steven and Richard both choose a pair of Dream Teams from behind the camera, one for the original series and one from the new. And then, armed with our Dream Teams, we think about stories that we'd like to remake using their talents.
Our original series dream team will consist of a Producer / Script Editor / Director / Writer / Designer and Incidental Music Composer, while our new series dream team will be a Showrunner / Exec / Producer / Writer / Director / Designer and Composer.
And it wouldn't be Something Who if we didn't use that concept as a framework for other discussions.
Please like or share our podcast with people who will enjoy it, so we can build our listener base high for happiness. You can rate us directly on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.com
The opening music is Three Guitars Mood 2 and, yes, that is Richard playing the ukulele and kazoo on possibly the worst ever version of the Doctor Who theme tune at the end.

322: Relationship Trapezoid (Something Borrowed)
Trust Your DoctorA trapezoid has four sides, fun fact.
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Our logo is blue, which means at your wedding you can bring Trust Your Doctor and that fulfills one of the four things you’re supposed to have. I don’t know about the rest, but you know if you need something old, well, the antique store is down the road. It’s Something Borrowed, written by Phil Ford and aired on March 5, 2008.
Show-notes
15:05: The concept of the Immaculate Conception is pretty confusing, but yeah.
