(00:08:50) “Blue Peter at 50” narrated by Tom Baker and originally broadcast by the BBC on 11 Oct 2008.

(00:09:25) “Oxide Ghosts: The Brass Eye Tapes” is a film designed solely for live screenings and is made up almost entirely of never before seen footage edited together from hundreds of hours of unseen material from director Michael Cumming's personal archive.

(00:11:07) English musician Neil Innes sued the band Oasis claiming their song “Whatever” borrowed portions of his song “How Sweet to Be an Idiot”. Innes and Oasis settled a plagiarism lawsuit and Innes received songwriting credit.

(00:13:10) Keith Chegwin (17 January 1957 - 11 December 2017) was an English television presenter and actor, appearing in several children’s entertainment shows in the 1970s and 1980s, including “Multi-Coloured Swap Shop” and “Cheggers Plays Pop”.

This refers to March 2017 when Allan and his missus Erica visited the Doctor Who set in Cardiff at Matt Lucas’s. As they prepared to return home, they spied a golden Ice Warrior prop (from “Empress of Mars”) in a skip. Only the lack of a roof-rack prevented them from taking it back to The Wirral with them. The whole story can be heard on our podcast #73 here (around 4 mins in).

(00:24:34) “The Box of Delights” is a BBC Television adaptation of John Masefield’s children’s fantasy novel starring Patrick Troughton and Robert Stephens. It was broadcast on BBC One between 21 November and 24 December 1984.

(00:25:30) Judge for yourselves whether Doc is right in thinking that Glyn Baker (the actor who played Herne the Hunter in “The Box of Delights”) bears a resemblance to Doctor Who Visual Effects Designer Mat Irvine.

(00:30:20) Mark received as an extra pressie from his fellow podcasters a Galen Doll from the “Planet of the Apes” TV series. This was to replace the one he accidentally destroyed during over-enthusiastic boyhood play. A photo of it can be found here.
