After months of anticipation however, the question foremost in everyone's mind now is whether or not last weekend's mid season opener was worth the wait. Join Eric Mendoza, Lindsay Wood, Beverly Brown, and Derek Gladu as we review "Let's Kill Hitler" and have little chat on the direction of Series Six thus far.

Doctor Who triumphantly returned to our screens on Saturday, so Derek and Alan sat down with guest host Talcy to share their thoughts on the TARDIS crew’s madcap trip to the 1930s.

Doctor Who is back!  And Paul and Phil give the waiting world their thoughts on Let's Kill Hitler! And guess what? They both enjoyed it! However, enjoying Doctor Who comes at a price as Phil has to eat his hat and two slices of humble pie as his previous predictions on River Song couldn't be further from the truth and he gets and episode title wrong. So really, he did the whole podcast speaking with his mouth full. Naughty boy!

We are joined by Katrina and Chris from the excellent Radio Free Skaro for a fun discussion of the Ninth Doctor adventure "Dalek."  It's been a long time since The TARDIS Tavern ventured into Christopher Eccleston land (we did "The Long Game" a while back), so this was a particularly fun event for us, in addition to being joined by two friends who have made previous appearances as guest bartenders.

The scotch flows and the discussion gets heated.  Could David Tennant play the Doctor as well as Eccleston did in this story?  Does using American actors in a UK production underplay the performance of the actor?  And can you guess which of the four of us didn't really enjoy "Dalek" the way 90% of the fan community seems to?  All these questions shall be asked in Episode 51 of...The TARDIS Tavern!

Big Finish

*I’m pretty sure the Big Finish Audio that featured the “black rectangular hole” chasing the Tardis (the time scoop, from “The Five Doctors”) was within the second season of the Paul McGann 8th Doctor Adventures. I belive it was episode 2.7 “Sisters Of The Flame”, but bewarned! This is the first of a THREE PART story arc, which continues in the season 2 finale 2.8 “Vengenance Of Morbius” and the season three premier, 3.1 “Orbis”. A fantastic tale, but does feature some characters from previous 8th Doctor audio adventures. – Shaun

Once again another member of the Telos AM team is regrettably absent. Lindsey and Alex do as best they can without the puns and general excellent-ness of Nick, & in the process end up having an interesting discussion about Robophobia, a recent 7th Doctor Big Finish audio, and revisit what they loved and hated about series 6a. 

Remember when all the Telos AM-ers fell about in hysterics over how much they loved 'The Doctor's Wife?' Or the righteous anger that followed the broadcast of 'The Curse of the Black Spot?' No? Not to worry, we don't really remember much of what we've said in the past either. But here's a reminder!
