Episode #58: "It Should've Ended Sooner"
Under The MiniscopeSarah and Andrew do a semi-commentary on Journey's End, and discuss the foibles of Davies, Rose, the infamous 2-parter, and everything. The battle of ideologies simmering for 58 episodes comes to an end in one showdown even more epic than the story we're recapping tries to be. Andrew talks a lot. Sarah talks a little. Andrew says "You know what I'm saying?" far too many times. And Sarah, methinks, begins to fall for Davies' sappy story charms... Could Journey's End's reviled end have a DEFENDER...? And perhaps the issue of Rose will be settled once and for all...
NOTE: Appologies for intermittent 'hiccups' in this and the next show; we had a few recording issues.

Attack of the Tomb of the Silver Nemesis Nightmares
Radio Rassilon
Attack of the Tomb of the Silver Nemesis Nightmares
It’s that time of the year when a new Rassisode plops out of the pub and into your earholes, Rassifans!
Harry and Leeson celebrate being published (if edited) authors, Iamwilliam is too busy fighting The Dark Side with Lego to take a phone call and it is far too hot for any of them to wear clothes. Except JNT and Leeson who both wore a nappy.
Did they like “the Gaiman episode”? Was it a good idea to go to the pub in the sun beforehand? And what’s going on with Leeson’s fly?
With contributions from @digspinach, @terriwestgate and Paul Carlton Brown.
You can purchase Celebrate Regenerate (50 years of Doctor Who celebrated by fans) or read a free version here:http://celebrateregenerate.weebly.com/index.html
From hot to tepid via silver nightmares and just nightmares…

Episode 91: The Sontaran Episode (With Dan Starkey!)
The TARDIS TavernWe haven't talked about Sontarans since...well, since ten episodes ago when we reviewed "The Two Doctors". But there's no time like the present again, as our roving reporter Andre Tessier has brought us an interview with Dan Starkey, the current series' lovable and bumbling Strax.
But first we travel back to the Tom Baker era: tin foil monsters, Machiavellian plots, stuffy Time Lords, and tripping over the pool chairs fantastic. That's right, this one is also about "The Invasion of Time". Why that one? Because we already know "The Sontaran Experiment" by heart.

Quentin Crisp Duck Face
Flight Through Entirety: A Doctor Who PodcastWe have a new Doctor, and a new release schedule. In the first weekly episode of Flight Through Entirety, Brendan, Nathan, Richard and Todd, the sort of girls who give motorcars pet names, discuss Tom Baker’s first ever Doctor Who story, Robot. Please do not resist. We do not wish to cause you unnecessary pain.
Buy the story!
Robot was released on DVD in 2007. (Amazon US) (Amazon UK)
Terrance Dicks’s novelisation, Doctor Who and the Giant Robot, is available as an audiobook, read by Tom Baker. (Audible US) (Audible UK)
Links and notes
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1818) has an emotional artificial person with a complex relationship with his creator. Coincidence?
Pearl White played the eponymous heroine in the 1914 film serial The Perils of Pauline. Apparently she never got tied to the railway tracks though.
Fans of terribly judgemental robots will enjoy Gort from George Pal’s The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951).
Anyone appalled by Richard’s gingerphobia will perhaps be mollified by this video depicting Catherine Tate’s admission to the Ginger Hair Safe House.
If, like me, you’re disappointed that Miss Bassey won’t be singing the theme to the next Bond film, SPECTRE, you can console yourself by remembering the valiant It’s Got To Be Bassey campaign. Bless you, boys.
Some moments in this story are reminiscent of Terrance Dicks and Malcolm Hulke’s second-season Avengers episode The Mauritius Penny, which exists on YouTube in its, er, entirety.
Follow us!
Brendan is on Twitter as @brandybongos, Nathan is @nathanbottomley, Todd is @toddbeilby, and Richard is just someone who loves life. You can follow the podcast on Twitter as @FTEpodcast.
We’re also on Facebook, and you can check out our website at flightthroughentirety.com. And please consider rating or reviewing us on iTunes, or we’ll just keep nagging you about it every episode for the next few weeks.

Just a drink to take my sorrow
Who's He?This week Phil and Paul return to Doctor Who in its audio format with a look at Big Finish Productions story Project: Twilight, a story of South East London gangsters (shut it you slags!) and vampires. Find out whether this story holds up for them or does it have no bite? (I am so sorry for that bad play on words. I shall ruminate on my behaviour and it will not happen again. Thank you.)
And in this weeks news we find out when Doctor Who returns to our screens in 2013, the sad passing of two of the UK's legends of broadcasting in which Phil confuses his Kenneth's and the results of a recent of Doctor Who memorabilia auction. And Omega's Tat Corner makes a welcome return to the show with a very expensive but snazzy piece of tat and more disappointing figures to collect.

episode 29 - Watchmen Take Florida Supercon Part 2
MarkWHO42 - The Doctor Who PodcastWelcome to the second episode of Markwho42's Florida Supercon Coverage. We get the show running this week with our Resurgance of Doctor Who panel: From PBS Obscurity to the Mainstream. Hosts Mark Baumgarten, Eduardo M Freyre and Trish Helm are joined by Dan Harris (of the SciFi Sea Cruise) and Juan Sanmiguel as they talk and interact with a live audience. Last week we had Dave Gibbons (co-creator of Watchmen and Doctor Who comic artist) on as part of our panel. This week we have a one on one with him conducted by Eduardo. Ed goes more in depth this time in this smashing interview. Finally, last week in the UK, the BBC held Doctor Who at the Proms, a concert featuring orchestrated versions of various music featured on Doctor Who. Murray Gold, the composer of most of the music heard on our favorite show, composed a special song called "Song for Fifty" in honor of the 50th Anniversary which premiered at the concert. We end the show with a taste of this beautiful song.
