Longtime fans of Doctor Who were given incredible news in September 2003 that our favourite series was coming back to BBC 1. At the moment very few fans could have possibly been able to conceive how successful the series would come after its return. It wasn’t a slow burn either. It was hugely successful right out of the gates. Now, four Doctors later and truly a worldwide phenomenon, The Others look back on the story that re-launched this legend in a whole new direction. Nine years ago we first met the girl who worked in a shop and would soon embark on a trip of a lifetime.
We look back at Rose. Not just the story but the character. As life-long fans of the series, we reminisce about how we were able to see the story early but also our initial thoughts at the time and how we loved every minute of it. We are The Others. Fantastic!
