Rising damp, it's gonna get us all
Who's He?After last weeks show, the lads are back in their comfort zone with their continuation of their series 5 retrospective and this week it's the turn of The Lodger. However, not all went according to plan as they were beset by technical problems, which made each other think their connection had dropped which lead to a bit of confusion. But once things got back on track, they rattled through but couldn't help but keep making comparisions to Closing Time (well, Phil did anyway) and why discovering Matt Smiths comedic talents in this story was a slippery slope for the programme makers.

Episode 54 - Little Grey Men
Traveling the VortexIn this week’s episode we start our look at the gap year specials, including the computer animated CBBC outing, Dreamland. Then on to the proper specials starting with The Next Doctor.
Also, our impressions on Music of the Spheres, the mini-episode that premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in London before the Intermission of the Doctor Who Prom on 27 July 2008.
And we play catch up on the wedding news of David Tennant to his fiance Georgia Moffat (yes, Shaun did forget some big news).
And of course, your feedback. Enjoy!
P.S. As per our debate at the end of the episode, on if the “Attack of the Graske” has ever been released, it hasn’t. From TARDIS.wikia:
“Although the interactive nature of the story would be compatible with DVD/Blu-Ray controllers, as of 2011 no home video release of Attack of the Graske has occurred or been announced. This renders it one of only two David Tennant-era Doctor Who-related productions (the other being the non-canonical Tonight’s the Night skit) that has not, and likely will not, see official home video release.”

Tim and Max Solve All The Problems With Popular Culture: Episode 1 - Fear of Change
Geek SyndicateTim and Max Solve All The Problems With Popular Culture is the newest podcast in the stable of winged horses that is the Geek Syndicate Network. The podcast aims to do exactly what it says on the tin - young bucks Tim Swann and Max Barnard identify a key area where popular geek culture falls down and then try and come up with some ways that both the creators and the audience can fix it. In our first episode, we discuss fear of change, and how both the audience, the creators and their bosses all fall foul of this fear. In the course, we discuss the New 52 (because you haven't had enough of that yet!), panel shows, the joy of Star Trek XI and The Clone Wars TV Series, and why changing to include basic human decency might help everyone out.
