My classic series reviews continue with a look at Dr Who: Marco Polo which is sadly absent from the BBC archives so I attempt a review via a recon and the CD soundtrack, not easy at all but I did my best.

In a short break from our Burning Issues mini-series, James and Michele take a look at some of the recent Big Finish special releases and discuss the new adaption of Love and War and also take a look at the two Sixth Doctor, Jago and Litefoot stories, Voyage to Venus and Voyage to the New World. James also gets to chat to Bernard Holley who stars in Love and War. All that and a competition to boot!

James also caught up with Stephen and got an update on the exciting goings on at the upcoming Big Blue Box 2 convention.

One last look at "The Snowmen" and the twisty turny perambulations of Steven Moffat's mind.

The Oncoming Storm takes it first look into the world of The Forge in episode 44! It's the first Project story from Big Finish, Project: Twilight by Cavan Scott & Mark Wright, and Josh can't wait for all of the sparkly vampires and love stories to start! Sadly corrected of those plot point, Josh and Ashley take a bit of the story proper, and get exposed to the nastiest vampire gangsters you'd ever want to meet! Proper sound effects for mutilation and bone breaking are discussed, along with proper blood splatter clean up treatments and which of the bad guy groups are worse. Yeah, it's that kinda story. The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got NO sparkly vampires or shirtless werewolves. In a story called Twilight! Isn't there some sort of YA fiction rule being broken here???

Time for another rousing discussion about which story best exemplifies a Doctor’s era. This time Deb, Erika, Liz, and Lynne tackle the 10th Doctor (not literally—as much as Lynne would probably enjoy that). “School Reunion” lies at the heart of the discussion, though “The Girl in the Fireplace” is touched upon and “Journey’s End” is defended quite ably.
