For this quiz Ian and James went up against the quizzing might of Josh and Steve from The Memory Cheats podcast.

This time around we’re looking at various 50th anniversary related issues (and let’s face it, this is likely to be the situation throughout 2013…) as well as offering you some suggestions for your own reading and viewing over the coming weeks to stave off the TARDIS-shaped vacuum in your life.

It’s Christian and James this week as Brian had to take receipt of an interesting wood structure. We can’t quite work out what it is, but it seems to be quite box-like. Might look nice in blue, too…

They're back! After disappearing from the airwaves for a couple of weeks while Phil became a Father, Phil and Paul return with a look at the latest in the Destiny of The Doctor audio stories, Shadow of Death. Would they think this was an improvement on the last Destiny of The Doctor story or would it be another disappointment in this 50th anniversary series? Mind you, they're only doing this as they're not at Gallifrey One like everyone else!!

And in the news this week, the Ice Warriors make their return in series 7, the 50th Anniversary story will be in 3D, loads of updates on the BFI Doctor Who screenings and a brief sojourn is made to Omegas Tat Corner.

Now how's that for an alternative to the greatest Doctor Who convention on the planet?

Forget all of the talk about the weather, the very first modern multi-Doctor story ("Time Crash"), and Kylie Minogue's turn on the program ("Voyage of the Damned"). What makes this episode of Bigger on the Inside so historic is that Dan and Mike mark the very first appearance of the man, the myth, the legend: Wilfred Mott!

We manage to hold it under an hour as Andrew and Sarah tackle the companion departures for Davison, Baker #2, and McCoy. Where will Peri fall? Will the Kamelion rant be trotted out AGAIN? Does anyone even REMEMBER Nyssa's departure? The answers to all this, and more...!

In this, the second installment, it's just me on my lonesome ranting about a few too many things. I'm OK, honest. I was just a bit tired and grumpy when I recorded it, it's all good.

I did manage to be positive about the amazing John Williams, so that's good.
