The Wild Geese
Waffle On PodcastWaffle On about The Wild Geese
Hello and welcome to this months episode of Waffle On Podcast in which Meds and Kell chat away about this glorious 70's movie, The Wild Geese. In honour of the wonderful Sir Roger Moore we opted to waffle about this film instead of Bond (plenty of podcasts already doing that). The film also stars legends Richard Burton, Richard Harris and Hardy Kruger. We play the main score and also as a special tribute to Sir Roger we play an interview from a 1994 Des O'Connor show right at the very end.

Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastWe could not count the times over the course of the past five-plus years on GPR that we have come to the defense of Steven Moffat. His writing, his style of production, his casting choices, his vision for the series, his whimsical-bordering-upon-maddening way of talking about the program through vague words and red herrings. Through it all, we recognized that he is a consummate fan, like us in many ways, and he revels in putting forth stories and ideas that […]

Who's He? Podcast #275 Gonna make you pay for that great big hole in my heart
Who's He?Wow. This week, Phil and Paul talk about World Enough and Time, quite possibly the finest, creepiest and most gripping episode of Doctor Who in a long time. With the Tardis trio taking Missy on a mission, what could possibly go wrong? Well, quite a lot as it goes and we're starting the Let's Not Kill Bill campaign right here!
But in the absence of any news this week, the pair of them talk about what is a spoiler and how the announcement of John Simm and the Mondasian Cybermen returning some months ago affected any surprises this series had.
Also as an added bonus, Phil reviews The Doctors: The Pat Troughton Years DVD released by Koch Media. Thanks to Witchfinder PR for the DVD.

Episode 97: World Enough and Time OR Exposition and Comic Relief
PodcasticaOh boy! Moffat manages to leave a big gaping hole in our hearts this week with an excellent story that's well executed, but leaves us floored by its implications. Join us as we hitch up our britches and wade into the beginning of the end with "World Enough and Time!" Note: At the 24 minute mark, Taylor erroneously says Bill could technically be in Tomb of the Cybermen. That's a mistake, we know, because those weren't Mondasian Cybermen.

Mutter's Spiral PodcastOMG! WTF? WHAT? WHAT? John was mesmerized by the impact of the story, while the amount of pre-episode spoilage I'd suffered muted my reactions to a varying degree.
