Who's He? Podcast #213 I'm not at my usual top billing
Who's He?In this edition of the Who's He? Podcast, Phil and Paul look at Minuet in Hell from Big Finish. In this tale of debauchery, lost identities and American politics, both Phil and Paul remain astounded at the bad accents on display but also the majesty of a Nicholas Courtney performance that lifts a very average Doctor Who story.
But in the news this week, rumours that series 10 will not air in 2016 which leads Paul and Phil to discuss the many theories that tag along with this rumour, Reece Shearsmith is cast in series 9 of Doctor Who and NASA prove they have nothing better to do than name craters on a moon after their favourite sci-fi characters.

Rob and Dave Unplugged (The DW Show Presents: Fandom in the 80s, 90s and Beyond)
The Doctor Who ShowJanuary 27, 2018 saw a lot of firsts... it was the first time Rob met Dave in person; the first time the guys recorded an episode of their show in person; the first time Rob had ever recorded a podcast with ANYONE else in the room; the first time they recorded with the guys from the New to Who podcast (see our February 25 episode); the first time Rob had met any of the Flight Through Entirety podcast team... and so on. You get the idea.
Anyway, at some stage on that very busy day, amid recording an episode of the Doctor Who Show and an episode of New to Who, Rob and Dave found time to crack out a single microphone, mount it on a table, and have a conversation about Doctor Who fandom in Australia. Basically how they came into it; what it was like; conventions, and more. They end up moving through the topic and even onto talking about the modern era of fandom that they now no longer feel a major part of, but are extremely supportive of.
Very personal... a little indulgent... and the sound quality isn't quite where the Doctor Who Show normally pitches, but if you're at all interested in our back stories, or Doctor Who fandom in Australia in the 80s and 90s in particular, this could be a very interesting episode for you to hear.

Episode 183: The Mechanics of Rabbits
The Sonic ToolboxHere we attempt to explain and explore how time travel machines work. Unfortuantely, the rabbits are driving Wranglers and keep running all over our conversations. But we manage to get thru a small bit of news and feed back, so all is not lost. Actually, it's found! So are TARDISs, Leviathans, vortex manipulaters, Omnis and time corridors.

56. Tegan Jovanka's Funky Ambulance
On the Time LashBen and Mark FINALLY reach the end of Series 5 with a discussion about The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang and Castrovalva. Along the way, they ponder how a Dalek would read an Usborne guide to the Romans, pitch a potential Big Finish boxed set, sing Alanis Morissette, sing Morrissey and just generally have a good time. Whilst some of the chat is potentially a by-product of booze and two friends having not seen each other for a while, there are also some more measured discussions of Amy and Rory's relationship, the problems with the Davison era and a lot of 80s Doctor Who as a whole, and what makes for a good debut from a Doctor.

Episode 81: On Screen On Screen
Trust Your DoctorSon Screen’s sun screen is on screen sun screen.
This week Kiyan and Dylan explore one of the juggernauts of classic Doctor Who (See what I did there? The Juggernauts is an audio drama featuring Davros, the Daleks, and the Mechonoids [from The Chase]). If the previous sentence didn’t give it away, this week the topic at hand is Genesis of the Daleks, which was written by Terry Nation and aired in March and April in 1975. It famously introduces the character of Davros, creator of the Daleks.
