Episode 97: World Enough and Time OR Exposition and Comic Relief
PodcasticaOh boy! Moffat manages to leave a big gaping hole in our hearts this week with an excellent story that's well executed, but leaves us floored by its implications. Join us as we hitch up our britches and wade into the beginning of the end with "World Enough and Time!" Note: At the 24 minute mark, Taylor erroneously says Bill could technically be in Tomb of the Cybermen. That's a mistake, we know, because those weren't Mondasian Cybermen.

Who's He? Podcast #145 And I'm a man of great experience
Who's He?This is it, the big one! In this episode of the Who's He? Podcast we say farewell to Matt Smith and finally say hello to Peter Capaldi in our review of The Time of The Doctor. While everyone should just be congratulating Matt Smith on a job well done, fandom seems set to implode yet again in what is currently a very divisive episode. So what is Phil and Paul's take on matters? Will Phil revert to type and declare this the worst episode EVAH!? Will Paul take a more lenient approach? Tune in to find out what they think but rest assured that Phil (and to a certain extent Paul) get in a few barbed comments about fandoms course for self destruction.
And in the news this week....STATS!! Oh, and a farewell message from Matt Smith.
We also want to wish all our listeners a very Happy New Year!!

Metebelis 2 #48 - Shot Through the Heart
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2In this week's episode Ben and David react to the revelations in emotionally impacting "The World and Time" and then speculate on how Steven Moffat is going to get Dr. Who out of the predicament posed by the penultimate episode of Series 10. Opening music was composed by Murray Gold and taken from this week's episode. The closing music is some classic incidental music very much associated with the Cybermen: "Space Adventure, Part 2" compose by Martin Slavin.

The Doctor Who Show S02 E06 - Reflections on The Master
The Doctor Who ShowHello! The last time Dave and Rob sat down to do a monthly episode of the show like this... it was March. Of course, there have been Doctor- and Companion-lite editions since then and 11 weekly review episodes of Series 10 so far, so it's not like the guys have been slacking in the slightest! But it's certainly a change of pace to hear them chat about a variety of random Classic and Nu-Who topics for an hour.
Today's episode - broadly - covers:
CLASSIC WHO: Discussion of Season 27
NU-WHO: Casting the next Doctor
NU-WHO: 2017 Doctor Who UK ratings
CLASSIC WHO: Do classic-era Doctor Who stories get better if they go beyond 6 parts?
NU-WHO: It's been 10 years since Blink
CLASSIC WHO/NU-WHO: The Master
CLASSIC WHO/NU-WHO: The guys would like you to write in and let them know who the best Doctor Who writers are who aren't regulars. Basically people who have written only one or two stories (three maximum), and have a great hit rate.
Thanks everyone, as always, for listening. We greatly appreciate your ears and your emails and tweets and, if you really want to make our day, why not leave us an iTunes review? See you next month...!

Episode 115: Time Travel is a Paperclip
The Sonic ToolboxThe most important thing about time travel is never break The 1st Law of Time Travel. Which, of course, the Doctor breaks about every 10 years. In fact, we're breaking it right now. This is episode 115, our last episode was 116 and our next will be 117. We're looping back on ourselves! (Actually, this is the episode that we missed due to technical difficulties, but what the hey!) This week we're discussing the intricacies of time travel and The 1st Law. So, take an asprin, pour yourself a drink and get comfortable. This is where it gets complicated.
