Doctor Who - The High CouncilWhat's going on? Secret passage ways? Watching Nicholas Parsons practicing a sermon, Chris, Kat and Josh debate why the Russians and the British are enemies in World War Two or perhaps AFTER World War Two. What does that pile of fake bombs really look like? Josh finally got that they were going to provide the computer to the Russians and it contains the poison! Mind blown. Flasks, chess sets, bones in a desert, recurring themes, scribbles in a wall, and a confusing set of events leads to Ace being a genius. Take me to the decrypt room!!

Episode 113: Apparently Legendary
Trust Your DoctorThey say that she’s a myth around these parts.
This week Kiyan and Dylan reach into the 1980s for real. By which I mean, everything takes a turn for the synth. Yes, the title theme is synth, the visuals look totally 80s, and everything is in a new decade. It’s The Leisure Hive, written by David Fisher and aired in August and September of 1980.
Show-notes
00:55 We use a piece of the Peter Howell’s theme arrangement as our intro and outro. If you’d like to hear the full theme, it’s on YouTube here.
01:47 You can watch Sid Sutton’s title sequence for the 4th doctor on YouTube as well.
03:09 You can find Triple Play on this very website!
06:28 You can see the full image of Tom and Lalla that we used in the header here. In addition, here’s another promotional image for The Leisure Hive that better shows both of their costumes.
07:49 June Hudson has a rather comprehensive Wikipedia page. Her website contains a portfolio which includes her original concept drawing for Tom’s new costume.
08:30 Here is an image of Raymond Reddington. If you’re interested in the show (Dylan recommends it), you can get some more information on The Blacklist’s wikipedia page.
09:00 Color comparison between burgandy and maroon
12:10 An image of The Namekians (From Dragon Ball Z).
12:28 A comparison image of the Argolans.
21:50 For reference, here is a screencap from this episode that shows The Fourth Doctor aged 500 years.
28:34 Tammany Hall was a corrupt political machine that basically ran most of New York in the early 20th century before losing influence when FDR got elected against their wishes. You can get a better overview at Wikipedia.
41:28 The Doctor Who site has an overview of all of the landings of Tom Yardley Jones’ new TARDIS.

Episode 132 : The Abandoned
The Untempered Schism PodcastStrange things are afoot in the TARDIS, with things popping in and out of existence, decimal points moving around, people that shouldn't be there or even exist and paintings all around. It's nothing that Lela and the Fourth Doctor can't deal with, assuming they can find out what is going on deep inside the ship.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 086 // We Like Your Stupid Faces
Doctor WhoochIn which someone pulls a Phillip K Dick move.
On this week's show: we head back to Series 7 and take a "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS" with a spaceship full of assholes. We also see various rooms from the TARDIS. And The Doctor is weirdly sexist? Or I guess more overtly. There was a thing. Many things. And drunkeness.
Outro music is "Shiny Happy People" by R.E.M.

The Andrew Cartmel Interview
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastHey Who fans, we have a break in programming this week to bring you an interview with the always cheerful Mr Andrew Cartmel. Enjoy…
The Interview
We’re big fans of Andrew and his thoughts and work on Doctor Who during such a difficult time. With BBC bosses not giving the show the love and attention it deserved and trying to take the Doctor in a new direction, Andrew had his work cut out. Listen as we dive behind the scenes and reveal some great stories from that era which ultimately led to the show’s extended hiatus.
We’d like to thank Andrew again for making time to chat with us, it really was worth it. Next week we’ll be reviewing the 5th Doctor story Four to Doomsday so look out for the post on Facebook, we look forward to your thoughts. Until then have a great week and remember – Allons-y!

Who's He? Podcast #236 Holy Moses I have been removed
Who's He?5 years ago three young fresh faced lads full of optimism began a podcast called the Who's He? Podcast. And now 5 years later, those same three lads are now old, knackered, jaded and still turning out the same old rubbish but thought they would celebrate this fact somehow.
So here we go then, it's the Who's He? Podcast 5th anniversary special! And in their usual style of not bothering with anything special, Phil, Paul and a returning and completely unprepared Tony provide for your listening pleasure a commentary for The Three Doctors!
To prove they have learnt absolutely nothing over the years, they bring you the same mix of silence, bad jokes, facts from the day of broadcast and more silence.
But a very big thank you to everyone who has stuck with us over the years, we very much appreciate it!

Classic Rewatch: The Dalek Invasion of Earth
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastIn 1963, the world was introduced to the alien horrors of the "homicidal trash bins" known as the Daleks. As terrifying as they were to the audience of the time, there may yet have been a sense of separation from this manifestation of evil, as we (through the eyes of the TARDIS team) met them millions of years in the future, on their strange planet of Skaro. When next we find them, however, the dangers of these sinister pepperpots strikes home -- quite literally. Enjoy the time you have, fellow Earthlings, because by the mid 22nd century, we're in for a rough go of it. Turning back to what is possibly Terry Nation's finest script, we look back this week on the second season of William Hartnell's tenure as the Doctor, in "The Dalek Invasion of Earth". We discuss the fascinating construct of the script, the attention paid to supporting cast, the trials and tribulations of the beleaguered prop department, and, of course, the farewell to Carol Ann Ford, as Susan exits (exits? no...gets locked out of) the TARDIS for the last time -- on screen. It's one of our top ten Classic Who stories, and arguably one of the best First Doctor stories overall. Feel otherwise? Well, well, yes indeed, then speak up, my good chap! episode 137 - The Longest Valeyard
MarkWHO42 - The Doctor Who PodcastYou must be joking. The Doctor could turn evil?! HOW??!!! Well, if you've seen the classic series "Trial of a Time Lord," you'd know this to be true. Or is it? And even to this day as the Great Intelligence echos his name in the new series, the Valeyard is a force that still has yet to return to our screens. Luckily, the MarkWHO42 Team has brought on board the Valeyard himself, Michael Jayston. The Team travels down Michael's time line to discuss the history of his acting career all the way up to the rebirth of the his signature character in Big Finish audios leading up to the Valeyard's and the Sixth Doctor's "Last Adventure." So. Run! RUN as fast as you can and listen or download this episode and find out about Michael Jayston, the man WHO would be Doctor. And "not the one you were expecting." Muahaahahahahahahahaha!!!
