With the Doctor and Sarah Jane stranded on the planet Exxilon, they stumble across a grumpy Scotsman and a ships captain with an ill fitting wig. And to make matters worse the Daleks turn up as well!
Marvel as Phil tries (and fails) to explain to Scott how the Doctors companions were written in the 1970's, just before Sarah lamps an Exxilon round the lughole with a starting handle and how Phil used to play Doctor Who as a nipper. Oh and Scott does a swear.

We finish our look back at Doctor Who anniversary specials of years gone by with the 50th anniversary special, The Day of The Doctor. Not only do Phil and Paul look back fondly at the 50th anniversary and the excitement and anticipation that went with it 10 years ago, they also decided to read the Target novelisation of this story. With the television script and the novel being written by Steven Moffat, the lads were expecting something brilliant.

Cue pointless 3D, unconnected scenes cobbled together as a story and an awful early 90's techno rendition of the Doctor Who theme tune.
But after Phil explains to Scott the reasons for the actors doing this for no money and Scott trying to pronounce Keff McCulloch, did either of them find any redeeming features amongst this disappointing mess?
