Peter Capaldi delivers. Of that, there was no doubt. What else does "Deep Breath" have going for it, and does it measure up to Steven Moffat's first crack at introducing a Doctor?

My review of the series 8 debut Doctor Who: Deep Breath which I saw at the cinema, we had a guest Dalek in the foyer and were treated to three extras a potted guide to regeneration by Strax, Dr Who Extra which also aired on the red button and a Q&A with Stephen Moffat, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman which revealed Capaldi wants the Mondas Cybermen to return and Moffat doesn't seem as keen on the idea.

The new series has started and we have a new Doctor; to top it all off we Paul and Seb are back for a limited time only and this week they're talking Deep Breath

The dynamic (but somewhat sleep-deprived) duo are back! That's right - Paul and Seb return for a limited run of DWO WhoCast episodes for Series 8, which will lead up to the handover to our new permanent host.

After sweeping away the dust from their microphones, the pair discuss Peter Capaldi's debut episode as The Doctor; Deep Breath.
